MARCH 22 • 9:16 pm — HB 1523, sponsored by Rep. Tom Grady (R-Naples), a bill that would allow parties in foreclosure proceedings to eliminate court proceedings if both parties agree, easily passed the House Civil Justice and Courts Policy Committee today. One goal of the bill is to enable banks and other mortgage lenders to more quickly get homes back on the market while letting homeowners get on with their lives.
